Our planners have collectively driven over 200,000 miles of UK roads. We know the single-track lanes with the best views, the villages where time stopped in 1952, and the pubs where the landlord still pulls a proper pint.
Planning a road trip sounds simple until you're three hours into Google Maps and realise you've routed yourself through an industrial estate outside Wolverhampton. The difference between a good road trip and a great one lives in the details that algorithms can't capture: which side of the valley catches afternoon light, which village has the bakery worth stopping for, which stretch of the A-road has been resurfaced and which hasn't.
Our team includes former rally co-drivers, travel journalists, and a retired Ordnance Survey cartographer. We combine satellite data with boots-on-the-ground knowledge. Every route is test-driven before it reaches your road book.
We've planned trips for honeymooners, retirees, car clubs, corporate retreats, photography tours, and one memorable stag do that covered 14 distilleries in 6 days (with a designated driver rotation plan included).
Fill in the essentials below and we'll come back within 48 hours with an initial route concept — completely free, no strings attached.

By engaging Journey Experts on Road for trip planning services, you agree to the following terms. Our service provides route planning, recommendations, and optional booking coordination. We act as advisors and intermediaries — we are not a tour operator, transport provider, or accommodation provider.
Route plans are based on conditions known at the time of creation. Road conditions, weather, closures, and third-party availability may change. We provide live support to help you adapt, but cannot guarantee that every element of a trip will proceed exactly as planned.
Fees are quoted per trip and confirmed before work begins. A 50% deposit is required to commence route planning. The balance is due upon delivery of your road book. Cancellations made more than 14 days before your trip start date receive a full refund minus the deposit. Cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved through mediation before court proceedings are initiated.
Road trip planning involves inherent uncertainties. While we take every reasonable measure to ensure accuracy — including test-driving routes, verifying accommodation standards, and monitoring road conditions — Journey Experts on Road cannot be held liable for incidents arising from driving, weather events, vehicle breakdowns, third-party service failures, or personal decisions made during your trip.
All driving is undertaken at the traveller's own risk and responsibility. We strongly recommend comprehensive vehicle insurance, breakdown cover, and travel insurance for all trips. Our recommendations regarding road surfaces, driving difficulty, and timing are based on professional experience but should not replace your own judgement as a driver.
Statistics, ratings, and testimonials presented on this website reflect genuine client feedback but individual experiences may vary. Past trip outcomes do not guarantee identical results for future travellers.
